Recently, all the staff of the Supply Department of CJEL and representatives from various departments gathered together in one place, sharing their insights and exchanging views around the book "Procurement and Supply Chain Management". They drew strength from the words and witnessed their growth through communication.

Chen Linrong, the head of the Supply Department, started with actual work cases and elaborated from multiple aspects such as "the overall perspective of the supply chain", "supplier management", and "procurement transformation" that the transition from efficient collaboration to value-added is an integrated practice based on practical experience and strategic thinking. He believes that matching and collaboration are at the core of the supply chain. Therefore, it is crucial to achieve information symmetry, make customer demands and supplier inventories transparent, and break down information barriers. The CJEL Comprehensive Management Platform has done a great job in realizing the linkage between order and inventory data. He particularly emphasized that in the future, the Supply Department will take this book as a guide, gradually deeply integrate strategic procurement into the company's decision-making system, and through forward-looking layout and resource integration capabilities, enhance the performance of suppliers and continuously strengthen the resilience of the company's supply chain.

This led to thoughts on matrix management from the perspective of category management.

Liu Zhimin, a colleague from the production department, by elaborating on the cognitive differences between production and procurement, concluded that an outstanding workshop manager should not only keep an eye on the production line but also understand the flow of the supply chain. He believes that collaborative cooperation plays a very crucial role in supply chain management.

Gao Kaili, a colleague from the Supply Department, believes that the career development direction for purchasing personnel is to become a bridge connecting the inside and outside. They should identify opportunities amid changes and understand the logic behind purchasing from the perspective of a practitioner, thereby enhancing the systematicness of purchasing work to meet challenges.
